As a registered dietitian and a passionate advocate of the positive effects of following a healthy eating plan and adopting a balanced diet, Amanda Josephson thrives on finding more efficient and effective ways to better the quality of people’s lives by improving their diet and nutrition.

Amanda started her dietetics career in various hospitals and medical practices, before moving to Bayer Healthcare – Diabetes Care, as a Medical Sales Representative.

Despite finding the job rewarding and valuable, she missed the personal touch of working directly with patients and helping them make a real difference in their lives. Having worked in a corporate environment, Amanda knows from experience how difficult it can be for busy people to find the time to fit healthy eating into their lives. Very often people know they should be following a healthy diet plan, but they’re at a loss where to start.

1 Month - R400

This package is suitable for those who need general guidance and advice on how to improve on their dietary intake to reach short term goals such as:

  • 5 kg weight-loss
  • Diabetes management/lifestyle diseases such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol (focusing on dietary changes)
  • General weight maintenance
  • To bulk up or tone as a sports person who is well into their training regime (lose fat and gain muscle)


3 Months - R800

This package is for those who want to take their nutritional health to the next level and that have long term goals such as:

  • Losing >10kg
  • Reducing their HbA1c levels gradually to normal levels below 5.7% if you are diabetic
  • Increasing their muscle mass/fitness and/or
  • Decreasing fat percentage as a sportsperson who has started a training regime

ALL packages include:

  • Nutritional guidelines

    This shows the calories, macronutrient breakdown for the day and exchange lists with portion sizes of each food group.

  • 7 Day Meal Plan

    This meal plan may be adjusted (if necessary) any time during the period that you have signed up for your package.

  • Shopping List

    For your convenience, we will set up a shopping list for you so that you can be certain to get all of the necessary items on your trip to the store.

  • Relevant Diet Sheet

    A relevant diet sheet will be set up with all of the dietary advice to manage any of your health conditions or help achieve specific nutritional goals.

  • Weekly Follow-up

    A weekly follow-up where all measurements must be sent to us to ensure that you are on the right track to achieving your goals.

  • Support

    Patients can contact me, Amanda, any time during the period that you have signed up for, to mention any concerns or if you have any questions.
